One:one Session

Dancing Freedom is also a practice that can be done in a one to one session of 1h15. Indeed, if being in a group completely blocks you but you feel the call of dancing then contact me. We will organize one or more sessions adapted to your needs, your limits, your obstacles, your desires.

However, the structure will be a little bit different. There will be a meditation or an exercise at the beginning of the session and then a wave with the elements but shorter than in a group. Then we will take the time to do a little debriefing if you wish to. 

I specify that I am not a therapist but the practice in itself can be therapeutic. You are your own teacher. I only offer the space and the practice that will allow you to discover yourself and learn to trust your own learning capacities as well as your inner wisdom. 

When you enter in a Dancing Freedom space, you arrive in a safe place where you are invited to be yourself. Feel free to move according to your needs, your desires, at your own pace. Let go of your mind, do not be afraid of judgment, show yourself as you are, without any mask, with all your authenticity, individuality and vulnerability. But above all, come with your HEART WIDE OPEN.

RUNNING OF A SESSION:

Each session lasts 1h15.  
- 10: Arrival Opening ceremony to discuss topic and share intentions

- 5': Exercise or movement meditation
- 50': Elemental wave and harvest
- 10: Closing ceremony and sharing


WHAT TO BRING:

Please wear comfortable clothes enabling you to move freely (please do not wear any type of synthetic perfume). Do not forget your water bottle

NON VERBAL SPACE

To go deeper and keep movement as the main expression. You can still use your voice and make sounds during the dance

YOU CAN'T DO THIS WRONG

There is no right way to dance. Just yours. The goal is not to make a performance or to make something aesthetic.

YOU CAN KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED AS LONG AS YOU WANT

We start the journey with our eyes closed to connect to ourselves and our sensations. You can then keep them closed as much as you want

TOUCH IS SACRED

Contact with others is allowed and encouraged, but always respect your boundaries and those of others. Don't take a refusal personally. 

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You don't need to know how to dance to participate. No particular physical conditions are required. Dance at your own pace and within your own physical and emotional limits.

EVERYTHING IS WELCOMED

All emotions are welcomed during the session. You can laugh, scream, cry, do vocalizations. We are in a space without judgment.

THERE ONLY ARE PROPOSALS AND INVITATIONS

Don't feel pressured into doing anything and really do only what speaks to you and what you need at that time. Only you know what's right for you!

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE OF YOURSELF

Whatever the music or your physical state, try to always keep a movement, even the smallest without going beyond your own physical limits.

IT IS NOT A THERAPY

Dancing Freedom is not a therapy but can be therapeutic and help you to understand certain things, to release blockages, to let go. If you see someone in a process, please let them do their job.

THE EARTH

It is our home. It physically represents our structure, our skeleton, our roots, our anchorage. Starting on the ground, we explore our willingness to be one with Mother Earth who holds us, supports us, protects us. We go back to the beginning, find our primitive instincts, our animal side and we reconnect with our body.
